Opinion: Open will present different challenges than when played previously at St. George’s
Golfers can't be too aggressive: Rory McIlroy
June 9, 2022 By Turf & Rec

Golfers teeing it up this week at St. George’s Golf & Country Club can expect a different challenge than when the RBC Canadian Open was last played at the Toronto golf course in 2010. Greens have been re-contoured and re-surfaced since the last Open played at St. George’s, allowing for more pinnable positions. Defending champion Rory McIlroy says golfers can’t be too aggressive this week, adding keeping the ball below the hole will be key.
