  1. Martin Veltman says:

I have not heard one logical reason why Ontario golf courses remain closed. Having said that, if everyone ignores instructions from the government, (as ill advised as that may be), then we invite anarchy which eventually leads to lawlessness and riots. Let’s leave it up to the governing authorities of the golf industry to convince the government that they have made an error in judgement. Premier Ford has an extremely difficult job and there is no way he can please everybody. We can only hope that common sense prevails.

    • JC Nana says:

I was with the premier until this asinine blanket restriction. Is he trying to prevent pandemic spread or is he trying to get votes? I understand politicians need to get elected, but catering to the schadenfreude instincts of non-golfing citizens is pretty low.

  2. Andrew Dolha says:

    Open Now

  3. James Gray says:

    Open the courses immediately, please.

  4. Greg says:

Golfers are ten minutes apart and they are outside
Please give me evidence that covid was contracted on the golf course
    There are none

  5. John says:

    Please open golf courses!
I always follow safety covid protocols when at the golf course!
    Thanks John

  6. I HAVE MASKED AND WASHED HANDS AND DONE ALL THE THINGS ASKED BUT I DO NOT THINK GOLF IS A PROBLEM IT MAYBE IN THE CLUBHOUSE BUT THEY ARE NOT OPEN SO I DONT SEE A PROBLEM.

  7. Lillian Bourcier says:

While parents and children congregate in the playgrounds and equipment is used by various individuals in succession, open air and individual golf play is being denied…where is the sense ?

  8. Kent Seburn says:

This is sport that plays by the rules when it comes to Covid. You easily follow all the guidelines during play. See reason for shutdown.
