The Glen Abbey Golf Club property, which is earmarked for commercial and residential development, was never considered a growth area based on the Town of Oakville, Ont.’s plan, says the municipality’s director of strategy, policy and communications. Town council has approved a one-year extension of an interim control bylaw which limits the ClubLink Corporation-owned property to its current use as a golf course.
