Observing ‘No Mow May’ nets Waterloo woman with bylaw infraction notice

A Waterloo woman was issued a bylaw infraction notice last week after the grass and weeds in her yard exceeded a height of six inches. The resident argued, however, she was simply observing “No Mow May,” a conservation initiative that gives bees and other pollinators better access to early season dandelions.
