North Bay-area MOH says he will shut down golf courses if rules not followed
Ontario golf courses can remain open during stay-at-home order
April 9, 2021 By North Bay Nugget
The medical officer of health for the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is warning that golf courses will be shut down if they don’t follow COVID-19 safety protocols during Ontario’s 28-day stay-at-home order. Dr. Jim Chirico said he won’t hesitate to close golf courses if complaints begin to pour in. “If we find we are getting complaints where golf courses are not adhering to the rules and it poses a significant risk, we will close them down,” he told the North Bay Nugget.
