No health risk linked to crumb rubber: study

A new study from The Netherlands suggests that crumb rubber used in synthetic turf sports fields does not pose a health risk among those who compete on the surface. The National Institute for Public Health and the Environment has published a report, saying the health risk is “virtually negligible.”
