Sports field remains idle since first installed in 2016

April 11, 2019 – A high school sports field installed in 2016 in Oak Bay on Vancouver Island has never been used, prompting questions as to why it has been idle the past three years. Improper construction has led to poor drainage, and the field will need to be remediated before it can be used.
