Residents seek halt to golf course housing development

July 3, 2018 – Homeowners surrounding the Stonebridge Golf & Country Club in Barrhaven, Ont. have sent a clear message to stop new development that would accommodate 158 more homes and consequently shorten the golf course. Residents fear allowing new development could spell the beginning of ongoing construction that might eventually take over the golf course and greatly reduce property values.
