Proposed artificial fields rile up park neighbourhood
Dec. 17, 2018 – A proposal to convert a full-size natural turf sports field and an adjacent smaller gravel field into two artificial playing surfaces is not sitting well with an East Vancouver neighbourhood committee. The Clinton Neighbourhood Committee is against plans to "plasticate" the park while the city feels the synthetic surfaces can bring about significantly greater hours of usage.
