March 22, 2019 – A pedestrian pathway that cuts between two ball diamonds in Port Coquitlam, B.C. has become a danger zone when towering homeruns are hit beyond the outfield fencing. A girl who was hit on the head by a fly ball has raised safety concerns, but two options discussed to solve the problem have been rejected by council over the costs involved.
