May 17, 2019 – Athletes patiently waiting to use London, Ont.'s baseball diamonds and soccer fields are finally seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. City fields traditionally open for play on May 1 of each year, but this spring's extraordinarily wet weather has forced a delay of three weeks.
