OTRF fundraising tournament Aug. 30 at Lebovic in Aurora
May 14, 2018 – The Ontario Turfgrass Research Foundation's annual fundraising golf tournament will be played Aug. 30 at Lebovic Golf Club in Aurora.
The host golf course was designed by Doug Carrick over 150 acres of rolling hills on the Oak Ridges Moraine in Aurora. The par 70 course will challenge both the expert and novice golfer alike, offering scenic vistas.
Lebovic Enterprises has contrinbuted to the charity with the use of its golf club, all food and beverages for the day, welcome gifts, gift certificates for a return game, raffle items and more.
Sponsors are encouraged to contact the OTRF office to arrange custom sponsorship packages. Corporate platinum partners and association donors include Bayer, Greenhorizons, Ontario Golf Superintendents Association, Pickseed, Turf Care Products, Turf Services, Sports Turf Canada and Golf Ontario.
New this year is an OTRF tournament raffle. Lebovic Enterprises has donated more than 30 unique items to help with the fundraising campaign. No raffle item is valued at less than $500. Pre-event raffle ticket sales will be offered soon. Participants are encouraged to arrive early the day of the tournament to choose a pair of complimentary sunglasses from the Oakley sunglasses bar. All players will receive a complimentary guest pass to play another round at Lebovic Golf Club, compliments of the host club.
