Off-leash park’s ‘spiky’ grass sending dogs to the vet

July 31, 2019 – The turf at a Vancouver dog park is injuring the feet of unleashed pets, sending many to the veterinarian. Except it’s not actually turf, but a weed called foxtail barley or spear grass.
