Oakville goes to court to fight for Abbey’s protection

A court application has been launched by the Town of Oakville to determine its rights and jurisdiction under the Ontario Heritage Act for the protection of the Glen Abbey Golf Course. The action comes in response to the desire by property owner ClubLink to demolish all but two buildings on the site and end Glen Abbey’s run as an operating golf course.
