When extensive spring flooding left the nine-hole McArthur Island Golf Course near Kamloops, B.C. in disrepair, its owner opted not to renew his lease with the city, leaving the property in limbo. A local naturalist club, however, hopes to see the course redeveloped into a nature park and educational centre.
