Lake Louise Resort fined $2.1M for cutting endangered trees
Dec. 3, 2018 – Lake Louise Resort in Alberta has been slapped with a $2.1-million fine for cutting 38 endangered whitebark pine trees in 2013. Appropriate permits were not obtained and the trees were considered healthy.
