Irrigation disruption, dust may hamper bowling pitch
Jan. 7, 2019 – The Simcoe, Ont. Lawn Bowling Club will be facing a number of challenges this summer as scheduled repair work to an abutting street threatens to disrupt its irrigation supply as well as possibly spew dust onto the pitch, create ground tremors and emit noise. The club is particularly concerned with a lack of parking while the work is being done, something that could prove difficult during major tournaments.
