Oct. 4, 2019 – A decision by Halifax Regional Municipality to close some of its sports fields this October in order to undertake significant restorative maintenance has not sat well with members of the community, especially those involved with high school football programs. Negative feedback from the decision has prompted the municipality to postpone its plans.
