FC star sounds off about BMO Field’s turf conditions

Aug. 28, 2018 – Playing conditions at Toronto’s BMO Field have come under fire by no less than the FC’s star player Sebastian Giovinco, who says the surface is leading to an injury a game. A new playing surface was planned prior to the 2018 season, but it was felt there wasn’t enough time with the short off-season due to the MLS Cup and CONCACAF Champions League.
