Jan. 30, 2019 – About 100 volunteers and experts met in Waterloo, Ont. Monday to discuss strategies to battle the invasive plant species phragmites australis, a toxic invader that looks like an ornamental grass. It is found in ditches, along roadways and in wetlands.
