G.C. Duke Equipment of Burlington, Ont. has earned some recent accolades from a couple of industry manufacturers.
The company was named “North American dealer of the year” by Jacobsen, a Textron Company, at the manufacturer’s annual dealer meeting in Las Vegas, which was held in conjunction with the trade show and conference of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America.
The award is presented to recognize outstanding performance in sales and customer service. Duke is a four-time winner of the award after becoming a dealer for Jacobsen in 1999.
Nolan Duke, Dick Raycroft and Neil Beech accepted the award for Duke from Jacobsen president David Withers, vice-president Ric Stone, regional manager Tony Whelan and territory manager Barry Larson.
At the same venue, Duke was also honoured by Smithco Inc. as the company’s dealer of the year.
The award is presented annually to the Smithco dealer which has achieved strong sales growth and has provided exceptional after-sales support. Duke has won the award twice in the seven years it has been in existence.
