Critics dump on BMO Field's 'unsafe' end zone
Aug. 2, 2018 – An Ottawa Redblacks defensive back, who played last season with the Grey Cup champion Toronto Argonauts, is concerned about the end zone playing conditions at BMO Field where the Redblacks and Argos clash tonight. Although the playing field itself at Toronto's home stadium is grown to natural grass, one end zone is completely artificial turf and has become the subject of much criticism of late because of its perceived lack of safety.
