July 24, 2018 – A controversial facelift in the name of safety is being given to Moncton’s Sommet Park. The plan is to remove 16 trees and lower the berms in the park to improve sight lines and visibility within the park to help reduce such activities as homelessness, drug use, prostitution, intoxication and assaults.
