Clarke Stadium debate triggers turf war
May 15, 2018 – A turf war is brewing at Edmonton's Clarke Stadium. The founders of a city team wishing to compete in a new Canadian premier soccer league want the facility fitted to meet their needs. But football fans say the field is needed to accommodate their amateur teams, adding it would also rob the CFL's Edmonton Eskimos of their practice facility.
