BrettYoung formulates certified drought-tolerant sod at Western Turf Farms

Sept. 20, 2019 – Western Turf Farms Ltd. in Abbotsford, B.C. is harvesting the province’s first-ever certified drought-tolerant sod. In response to summer drought and water restrictions taking place five of the last six summers in British Columbia’s Lower Mainland, BrettYoung has formulated a specific sod blend for Western Turf Farms that consists of perennial ryegrass, chewings fescue and Kentucky bluegrass.
