New Westminster park’s master plan includes sports, recreation amenities upgrades

Plans for Hume Park in New Westminster, B.C. are being mapped out in a master plan that includes sports facilities and ecological enhancements. The city wishes to develop the 31.72-acre park so that it responds to the long-term growth in that part of the municipality. The city has heard that such existing amenities as a lacrosse box and spray park should be retained and upgraded.
