New Holland’s most powerful compact track loader

October 29, 2018  By  Mike Jiggens

Oct. 29, 2018 – The new C245 Super Boom® compact track loader from New Holland is the company’s most powerful vertical lift loader that features cab comfort and visibility with a flip-top cab that is easy to service.

With a rated operating capacity of 4,500 pounds and breakout force of 9,188 pounds, it’s New Holland’s largest, most powerful compact track loader model yet. The C245 not only reaches higher and delivers more power and lift capacity, the rugged construction, smooth, stable ride and exceptional visibility allows operators to work with more confidence and speed.

Its vertical-lift Super Boom design provides high lift capacities, long forward dump reach, and fast cycle times. It reaches up and out to dump cleanly into the centre of high-sided trucks and hoppers. Operators can empty the bucket faster and easier, which in turn increases cycle times.

The C245 is outfitted with one of the industry’s widest, most comfortable cabs with plenty of head and foot room for easy access in and out of the machine. The cab’s large range of visibility gives
operators a clear view of the job site with lots of cab glass and the thinnest side screens. New steel front work lights with sidelamps deliver extra visibility during nighttime operations.

Stability is an important part of being productive, and that’s another area where this compact track loader delivers. The long wheelbase on the C245 allows operators to lift and haul more material, increasing productivity. The low-profile undercarriage design extends track life and provides a smoother ride because the steel-embedded tracks roll on the rubber instead of the steel.

By simply opening the engine compartment rear door, routine service points like the engine oil fill and dipstick, the air filter, oil cooler, radiator, coolant over flow, fuel filter, and oil filter are readily accessible. And if more service access is needed, the entire cab assembly flips forward and out of the way to open the machine up wide for convenient access to components.
