New artificial turf putting greens installed at nine-hole NWT golf course

Gamètì, N.W.T.’s nine-hole golf course has brand new greens – artificial turf putting surfaces – which are reacting better to approach shots and putting than its former greens. It marks the first time the greens have been replaced in the 18-year history of the golf course. The former greens caused too much bounce, golfers say. Material from the former artificial turf greens will be used to build a soccer field and miniature golf course.
