Nelson, B.C. golf course opens today for season with ‘soft’ back nine opening

Granite Pointe Golf Course has opened for the season to members only. The Nelson, B.C. course is opening its back nine today for a soft opening, joining other courses in the West Kootenays in getting the 2021 season underway. The front nine holes usually take longer to dry before opening, but club officials suspect it won’t be much longer before all 18 holes are open.
