Neighbour complains City of Burnaby is neglecting empty lot’s upkeep

The City of Burnaby created an “eyesore” in one of its residential neighbourhoods after demolishing an existing home and neglecting the lot’s subsequent upkeep, a neighbouring resident says. Grass at the site has been mowed only a few times since the home was demolished two years ago, neighbour Julia Oblitas claims. “Now we have bushes and trees that are growing out of control in the lot.”
