Naturalist writer takes aim at lawn care customers over ‘frivolous’ want to be weed-free

An opinion piece published online by MSN has teed off against lawn care companies and their customers who fear the City of Regina may soon outlaw the use of non-essential pest control products. Writer Trevor Herriot, a local naturalist and writer, says such products degrade the ecology and health of urban spaces and suggests spending money on lawn care services is a “frivolous indulgence of private aesthetic values.”
