Nanaimo sports complex approved as site for potential new stadium
Medium-sized stadium could allow city to host big tournaments

Nanaimo city council has approved the Larry McNabb Sports Complex as the site for a potential medium-sized stadium that could accommodate upwards of 12,000 people. The complex is already the home of a multi-sport artificial turf field, a baseball stadium and a track and field bowl. Development of a new medium-sized stadium would allow the city to host provincial and national tournaments.
