Movement afoot to block development at Vaughan-area golf course

The “Keep Vaughan Green” movement is fighting the proposed development of the Country Club Golf Course in the Humber Valley. Keep Vaughan Green has amassed more than 12,000 signatures on a petition it hopes will block development plans. The corporation that owns the course had planned to build 600 homes on the property three years ago, but has since proposed more than 1,200 units.
