More than $3 million going into improvements to Ajax cricket facilities
More cricket pitches may be coming, mayor hints

More than $3 million is to be spent on upgrading the facilities at the Ajax (Ont.) Cricket Club. The town will earmark almost $900,000 toward the improvements while another $2.4 million will be coming from the provincial and federal governments. Cricket is a growing sport in the Greater Toronto Area, and the mayor of Ajax said the town is looking toward adding more pitches in the future.
