Mild spring weather allows Steinbach, Man. area golf courses to open early

Several golf courses in the Steinbach, Man. area are ready to open for the season this weekend, taking advantage of the early spring. The Oakwood Golf Course maintained its tradition of being the first in the area to open, with April 1 as its official start. La Broquerie Golf, Girouxsalem and Ridgewood golf courses, as well as the Lorette Golf Course are expected to open Friday, and Drovers Run may also open on the weekend if conditions permit.
