Mild December weather brings back golfers in droves in southern Ontario

Recent mild winter weather in southern Ontario has led to golfers retrieving their clubs from storage and hitting the links again. Dorchester’s Pine Knot Golf & Country Club saw 150 golfers tee off on Thursday amid weather similar to a typical spring day. Golf in 2021 has been one of the busiest seasons in several years – due not only to agreeable weather conditions, but to it being seen as a safe outdoor activity during the COVID-19 pandemic.
