Memorial planned for Gordon Witteveen

A memorial event to honour the life of the late Gordon Witteveen will take place Saturday, Jan. 8 at The Country Club (Toronto Board of Trade Country Club) where he had spent much of his career as its superintendent.

Witteveen died Dec. 16 after a long battle with leukemia. He was 76.

A light lunch buffet, reflective stories and a video presentation will take place at the memorial. All are welcome to attend. Donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society would be appreciated by the family and may be directed either to the society or directly to the Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook Hospital.
