Medicine Hat launching fall dandelion, broadleaf weed control program

The City of Medicine Hat, Alta. will be launching a weed control program this fall in select parks. The city’s parks manager said the objective of fall dandelion and broadleaf control is to reduce requirements for future control methods. Medicine Hat launched an improved fertilization program in 2018, along with regular cultural practices, that allowed turf to thrive and become more competitive against weeds.
