Maritime golf courses believe 2021 could be busier than record-breaking 2020
Minus 3 degrees temperature doesn't stop N.S. golfers
March 26, 2021 By The National Post
Maritime golf courses found a silver lining in the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and are gearing up for another year of increased rounds. Fox Hollow Golf Club in Stewiacke is one of the first courses to open each year in Nova Scotia, and golfers played on Monday in temperatures of minus three degrees Celsius. In 2020, 35,000 rounds were played at the Fredericton Golf Club, compared with 20,000 rounds the year before. Clubs believe 2021 could top 2020’s record numbers.
