Manitoba gives green light for golf courses to open as early as Monday
NGCOA VP says industry is pleased by announcement
April 30, 2020 By CBC News
Golf has been given the green light in Manitoba following Premier Brian Pallister’s announcement yesterday that a number of non-essential businesses can open on Monday. “The golf industry is certainly pleased to see the decision,” Harry Brotchie, vice-president of the National Golf Course Owners Association, said. As is the case with golf courses in other provinces that have been allowed to open for play, Manitoba golfers will have to adapt to a series of strict guidelines.
