Manitoba course has its earliest ever opening, fills up tee sheets immediately

Southside Golf Course in Grande Pointe, Man. opened for play on Thursday, and immediately its tee sheets were full for the next five days. A March 18 opening is the semi-private course’s earliest ever, and the rush for golf has never before been experienced, club officials say. With temperatures this weekend expected to reach 14 degrees Celsius, the golf course is expecting to be busy.
