Golf course architect Ian Andrew will be leading a major renovation project at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley’s North course.

Renovations are slated to begin following the civic holiday weekend in August, requiring the course and its practice facilities to close for the remainder of the season. The work is to include renovated green sites to expand runoff areas as well as relocated bunkers and tee decks.

The North course’s practice facilities will also undergo changes that are to include the resurfacing of the range and new short game and putting greens construction.

The golf course, which measured 7,151 yards when it first opened in 2001, will seen be more than 7,500 yards in length.

The changes are meant to create a venue for high-competition events yet retain its appeal to golfers of all handicap levels.

Andrew had worked on the golf course’s original design along with its chief designer Doug Carrick.
