Long weekend rain forecast met with mixed feelings at Steinbach golf course

The Victoria Day weekend usually means a busy period for the Steinbach, Man. Fly-In Golf Club, but the forecast is calling for rain. The weather is being viewed as a good news, bad news situation. Club professional Brian Guenther says precipitation is welcome to help with the area’s recent dry spell, but it could also keep golfers off the course. Course conditions are good in spite of the drought, but Guenther said rain at night and pleasant weather during the day this weekend would be the perfect mix.
