London’s city-owned golf courses lose money this year even though rounds up
Late start to season made it tough to recoup revenue

Rounds were up this year, but London’s municipally-owned golf courses still lost money. Starting the season nearly two months later than normal, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, made it difficult to recoup the lost revenue. The two city-owned courses realized about 110,000 rounds this year – the best they’ve seen since about 2012.
