London, Ont. group dedicates itself toward converting paved surfaces into green spaces
Two conversion projects scheduled for June

A London, Ont.-based group dedicated toward converting paved urban areas into green spaces is embarking upon two new projects this spring. London Environmental Network’s Depave Paradise program volunteers will be digging up about 180 square meters of paved surfaces at a farmer’s market in St. Thomas and at a public school in London in June, and turning the sections into naturalized land. The group had previously undertaken a similar project at London’s Fanshawe Colllege.
