Loan for artificial turf has city looking at new policy

Oct. 11, 2018 – An interest-free loan provided to a Stratford, Ont. soccer organization for the installation of an artificial turf field last year has prompted the city to develop a policy that governs loans to community groups. Concerns were raised after the more than $600,000 interest-free load was awarded.
