Legal battle over Brantford’s Arrowdale Golf Course pending sale continues
City files reply to leave of appeal motion
March 12, 2021 By Brantford Expositor
The legal fight over the sale of Brantford’s municipal Arrowdale Golf Course continues. The city had reached a deal to sell 32 acres of the nine-hole property to a development company for $14 million while another 17 acres of the property is earmarked for a public park. The city has filed a reply to a leave of appeal motion to the Ontario Court of Appeal that was filed by Know Your City Inc., the community group opposed to the sale. If the group is awarded permission, an appeal hearing could come as early as June.
