Lawyers to blame for denied or escalating snow and ice coverage: insurance broker

Personal injury lawyers are largely to blame for the difficulty snow and ice contractors are facing in getting insurance coverage or for the escalating costs of their coverage, the president of a Cornwall-area insurance brokerage says. “That’s what’s driving this,” Todd Rozon says. “Lawyers have propagated this problem, and it’s all ramped up in the last four or five years.”
