Law signed in California that could see ban of sales of gas-powered lawn equipment
Law could take effect by 2024

California is poised to ban the sale of gas-powered lawn care equipment and generators by 2024. The law is aimed to reduce emissions. State officials claim a gas-powered leaf blower used for an hour produces the same amount of pollution as a 2017 Toyota Camry that has traveled 1,100 miles.
