La Verendrye Golf rebrands itself as La Broquerie under new ownership

Long known as La Verendrye Golf, the 18-hole course near Winnipeg has been rebranded as La Broquerie Golf under its new ownership. The new owner, a property developer, plans to build rental units on the former 18th fairway and elsewhere, but will otherwise keep the course open for community play. Longtime superintendent Darren Dundas will remain in his role.
